In 2007 the negatives were sold by the storage company to RPN sales including John Maloof. In 2008 Vivian health began to crumble then she passed away later in April of 2009. Years were passed though she hadn't develop and unprinted her rolls. She develop her prints and own role of black and white film. She enjoyed luxury of darkroom and also private bathroom. In this time she took nearly one lack fifty thousand photographs. She worked as a nanny over 40 years in Chicago. Vivian used to take a picture in a modest Kodak Brownie box camera. She was born to a French mother and Austrian father in Bronx borough of New York. The notable figure in Vivian's life was Jeanne Bertrand. At the year of four she lived with her mother and Jeanne Bertrand(an award winning portrait photographer). She lived without her mother after 1951.She described as "Mary-Poppin" and also she worked as nanny for three boys later she raised as a mother for them. Vivian Dorothy Maier was an American street photographer born in February,1 in the year of 1926 in New York.
